GLISS Holds Inter-Houses Competition

The opening ceremony of  this year's Inter-Houses sports competition was held at the School's Football field.In his opening address, the Director of the School, Mr. Hamada Mumtaz, advised the students to be guided by the rules and regulations of the school and to do their best to maintain a healthy competition among the various houses in the school.

The Deputy Director, Alhaji M. B. Alhassan, also tasked the students to come out with their best as they go through the activities. He concluded by adding that it is the hope of the School that one day some of them will be come National heroes in sporting. Events in the three day rpogramme included, Football, Basketball and Volleyball.The competing houses were ABUBAKAR , UMAR, UTHMAN and ALI. Prizes were awarded to winning houses and students who distinguished themselves in the various sporting events.
